NEW VILLAGE FETE SHOWCASES RISING TALENT

Bringing together Liverpool's leading creative designers and craft makers under the roof of one of the city's best known institutions, Heebie Jeebies, is 'The New Village Fete'. The inaugural event, essentially a market forum for new, up and coming local talent, opens on Saturday, May 23rd, 2009 at 10am, with stalls and entertainment going on till 4pm.

Predicted to kick off with a bang this event will be a fortnightly affair with a unique sociable atmosphere. This is a great opportunity within a warm and friendly environment to sell hand made goods etc without the commitment of paying for a permanent retail space. In addition to the craft stalls, bands and an outdoor BBQ will also be provided, along with PR people handing out free samples, subsequently enhancing a quirky ambience for people to shop in.We anticipate this will make our event an unusual and exciting shopping experience aiming to attract a wide spectrum of people including the fashion conscious elite, and musical and creative types that Liverpool is so renowned for.

We have plenty of secured contacts to take up stalls so far. We therefore expect remaining spaces to be limited and to fill up fast, so if you are interested then we suggest you get in touch quickly.Looking at the venue we feel that we could cater for a substantial number of stalls. This is to be a high quality event and stalls will be selected on quality and individuality. We are trying to avoid doubling up on similar style designers so do not be offended if you are not selected for the first date as we may be in touch again for further events.

If this sounds like something you would like to be involved in please email myself or Faye back with some images of your work and a brief description of what you intend to sell. (Please be as specific as possible with your descriptions, for example, if you sell jewellery what type… vintage costume jeweller, craft handmade designs using fabric, ceramics etc.)If you are selected you will be contacted and asked to pay a £7.50 deposit which will later be deducted from the £15 stall fee (This will be collected on the day.)This is a fantastic opportunity and we feel that you as stall holders will really benefit from the publicity, location and the type of clientele the event will attract. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Please forward this email on to anyone who you feel may also be interested in exhibiting.

We are still looking for fashion designers and vintage clothing sellers or anything alternative that you may have to offer.

Best wishes

Helen & Faye
